Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Drawing Cover by Jean-Richard Goubie for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,282.06). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Richard Goubie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French l'Après-Midi Du Dimanche Au Jardin D'Acclimatation in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 662,500.00 (€ 460,837.51).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Drawing Cover von Jean-Richard Goubie für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.282,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Richard Goubie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French l'Après-Midi Du Dimanche Au Jardin D'Acclimatation im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 662.500,00 (€ 460.837,51).
