Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Jeram Patel was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2016. The »bidding war« ended at USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,909.06), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jeram Patel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Abstract), which sold at auction in September 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,176.37).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeram Patel wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.909,06) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jeram Patel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Abstract) beobachtet, die im September 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.176,37) versteigert wurde.
