This artwork by Jérôme Mesnager achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. In the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction, the work Sans Titre - 1987 sold for EUR 1,443.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 700.00. Admittedly, works by Jérôme Mesnager have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bellerophon, 1990 in February 2012 with an auction result of EUR 6,375.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jérôme Mesnager erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1987 für EUR 1.443,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jérôme Mesnager auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bellerophon, 1990 im Februar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.375,00.
