Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jia Aili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Youth sold for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,383.26) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 22,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jia Aili erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Youth für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.383,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 22.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
