Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Noah's Dream by Jia Aili. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 2,268,000.00 (€ 271,844.94). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Noah's Dream von Jia Aili zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 2.268.000,00 (€ 271.844,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
