Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dressing Up by Jiang Guofang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 200,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 224,200.00 (€ 31,878.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jiang Guofang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 7,280,000.00 (€ 841,354.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dressing Up von Jiang Guofang wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CNY 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CNY 224.200,00 (€ 31.878,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jiang Guofang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dream Of Spring In March (Triptych) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.280.000,00 (€ 841.354,60).
