Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Day Rite by Joe Bradley. The price achieved of GBP 406,400.00 (€ 462,358.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300,000.00 – 500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joe Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tres Hombres in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,913,274.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Day Rite von Joe Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 406.400,00 (€ 462.358,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joe Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tres Hombres im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.913.274,00).
