Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Danish Still Life With Dahlias by Johan Laurentz Jensen was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 45,056.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johan Laurentz Jensen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danish Stilleben Med Blomster I Græsk Vase (Still Life With Flowers In A Greek Vase), which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 90,500.00 (€ 115,119.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Danish Still Life With Dahlias von Johan Laurentz Jensen kam im Dezember 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 45.056,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Johan Laurentz Jensen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danish Stilleben Med Blomster I Græsk Vase (Still Life With Flowers In A Greek Vase) beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 90.500,00 (€ 115.119,96) versteigert wurde.
