In January 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master Drawings, which included the work View Of Part Of The Château De Blandy by Johann Georg Wille. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,371.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Johann Georg Wille - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mother And Child In A Landscape, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,941.23).
