A top price for Johann Baptiste Heinefetter - as previously expected
In December 2007 Sothebys in Milan held the auction 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Borgo In Baviera by Johann Baptiste Heinefetter. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Borgo In Baviera is the most expensive artwork by Johann Baptiste Heinefetter that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Mailand die Auktion 19th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Borgo In Baviera von Johann Baptiste Heinefetter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Borgo In Baviera das teuerste Kunstwerk von Johann Baptiste Heinefetter, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
