This artwork by Johannes Frederik Hulk achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. In the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Sportsmen with their pointers at a pond sold for EUR 2,151.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Johannes Frederik Hulk achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amsterdam in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 31,200.00 (€ 45,836.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Johannes Frederik Hulk erzielte im Juli 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS wurde die Arbeit Sportsmen with their pointers at a pond für EUR 2.151,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Frederik Hulk erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Amsterdam im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 31.200,00 (€ 45.836,74).
