Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Summer's day; and Houses by a lake by Johannes Grenness for GBP 500.00 (€ 580.00). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Johannes Grenness have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still life with fruit and flowers in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 3,000.00 (€ 2,621.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Summer's day; and Houses by a lake von Johannes Grenness für GBP 500,00 (€ 580,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Johannes Grenness auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still life with fruit and flowers im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 3.000,00 (€ 2.621,92).
