Admittedly, works by John Behan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Blackrock Bull in May 2013 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,767.46).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.350,00 (€ 3.770,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von John Behan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Blackrock Bull im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.767,46).
