Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Irish Art, which included the work Rod Bull by John Behan. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,250.00 (€ 17,134.69). Other works by John Behan have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,767.46) in May 2013 for the work The Blackrock Bull.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rod Bull von John Behan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.250,00 (€ 17.134,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von John Behan haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.767,46) im Mai 2013 für die Arbeit The Blackrock Bull beobachtet.
