Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by John F. Simon Jr. could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fast Forward: New Directions in Contemporary Art auction, the work Medusa 1 changed hands for USD 250.00 (€ 236.70) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John F. Simon Jr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Window in July 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,536.78).

Dieses Kunstwerk von John F. Simon Jr. konnte im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
