Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Christies in New York held the auction Trespassing, which included this untitled work by Jordy Kerwick. The price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 9,880.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordy Kerwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chic Imagery in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 254,301.37).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Trespassing durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jordy Kerwick zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 9.880,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordy Kerwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chic Imagery im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 254.301,37).
