Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction British & European Art: European Art, which included the work Beaching the boat by José Mongrell. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 68,620.84). Other works by José Mongrell have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 66,500.00 (€ 93,117.20) in November 2007 for the work La Vuelta De La Pesca (The Return Of The Fishermen).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & European Art: European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Beaching the boat von José Mongrell zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 68.620,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von José Mongrell haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 66.500,00 (€ 93.117,20) im November 2007 für die Arbeit La Vuelta De La Pesca (The Return Of The Fishermen) beobachtet.
