Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 26.290,00 (€ 40.356,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josef von Brandt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Caravan im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 249.906,48).
