In April 2007 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master and 19 Century Paintings - 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries Decorative Arts, which included the work Personnages Conversant by Joseph Bergler. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 620.00 55% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Bergler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aktaeon überrascht Diana beim Bade., which sold at auction in December 2010 for EUR 2,375.00.

Im April 2007 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master and 19 Century Paintings - 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries Decorative Arts durch, in der auch die Arbeit Personnages Conversant von Joseph Bergler zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 620,00 und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Bergler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aktaeon überrascht Diana beim Bade. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2010 für EUR 2.375,00 versteigert wurde.
