The work Jeune Archer by Joseph Uphues was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May 2011. It achieved a price of EUR 1,921.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Uphues - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hercules and the Stymphalian Bird, which sold at auction in February 2003 for GBP 4,541.00 (€ 6,629.72).

Die Arbeit Jeune Archer von Joseph Uphues kam im Mai 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.921,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Joseph Uphues mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hercules and the Stymphalian Bird beobachtet, die im Februar 2003 für GBP 4.541,00 (€ 6.629,72) versteigert wurde.
