Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Juan Batlle Planas could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary auction, the work Figure changed hands for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,412.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Juan Batlle Planas have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2012 by the work Figure at USD 37,500.00 (€ 30,329.99).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Juan Batlle Planas konnte im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
