Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The presentation of the portrait by Juan Pablo Salinas was sold in the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction at Christies in London in June 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 53,355.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Pablo Salinas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The matador's triumph, which sold at auction in October 2000 for GBP 91,750.00 (€ 156,826.98).

Die Arbeit The presentation of the portrait von Juan Pablo Salinas wurde im Juni 2004 in der Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 35.850,00 (€ 53.355,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
