A top price for Juan Ugalde - as previously expected
In October 2008 Christies in Madrid held the auction Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel, which included the work Atocha Oklahoma by Juan Ugalde. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Atocha Oklahoma is the most expensive artwork by Juan Ugalde that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Madrid die Auktion Spanish Art at the Westin Palace Hotel durch, in der auch die Arbeit Atocha Oklahoma von Juan Ugalde zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Atocha Oklahoma das teuerste Kunstwerk von Juan Ugalde, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
