Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames, which included the work La Promenade Au Jardin by Jules David. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 300.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 316.00. Admittedly, works by Jules David have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fashionable ladies at home in September 2005 with an auction result of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,584.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures, Frames durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Promenade Au Jardin von Jules David zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 300,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 316,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules David auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fashionable ladies at home im September 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.584,98).
