Three prints of women beside the shore
Edo period, 19 th century
Each a woodblock print, and comprising:
- Women gathering salt from the sea using buckets, salt burner’s huts in the distance, signed Kanshosai Shunsen ga, circa 1820s
- Awabi divers, signed Shunkosai Shunsen ga, censor's seal kiwame, published by Izumiya Ichibei (Kansendo), circa 1820s
- Women and oxen, signed Shunkosai Shunsen ga, censor's seal kiwame, published by Izumiya Ichibei (Kansendo), circa 1820s
Each horizontal oban: each 25.5 x 38.7 cm., 10 x 15¼
