A top price for Katy Grannan - as previously expected
In April 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs Evening Sale, which included the work Anonymous, Los Angeles by Katy Grannan. It changed hands for a price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,157.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Anonymous, Los Angeles is the most expensive artwork by Katy Grannan that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anonymous, Los Angeles von Katy Grannan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.157,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Anonymous, Los Angeles das teuerste Kunstwerk von Katy Grannan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
