Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Kawano Kaoru was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 411.25 (€ 590.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kawano Kaoru have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2006 the work Unknown was auctioned for GBP 420.00 (€ 619.59).

Die Arbeit Unknown von Kawano Kaoru kam im Juni 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 411,25 (€ 590,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kawano Kaoru konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2006 die Arbeit Unknown für GBP 420,00 (€ 619,59) versteigert.
