Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Holiday Japan Mt. Fuji; BFF Blue Version (MoMA Exclusive); Holiday Companion Bath Toy; & Holiday UK by Kaws was auctioned at POLY in Poly Auction App in January last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 22,800.00 (€ 2,609.03). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Holiday Japan Mt. Fuji; BFF Blue Version (MoMA Exclusive); Holiday Companion Bath Toy; & Holiday UK von Kaws kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei POLY in Poly Auction App zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 22.800,00 (€ 2.609,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
