The work Small Lies (Grey; Black; and Brown) (Three Works) by Kaws was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 1,008.00 (€ 1,194.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000.00 (€ 6,615,255.49).

Die Arbeit Small Lies (Grey; Black; and Brown) (Three Works) von Kaws kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.008,00 (€ 1.194,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000,00 (€ 6.615.255,49).
