Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Nice by Keith Baynes for GBP 375.00 (€ 435.58). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Keith Baynes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Gate In Hyde Park in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,885.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Nice von Keith Baynes für GBP 375,00 (€ 435,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Keith Baynes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Gate In Hyde Park im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.885,78).
