In the Sporting Art and Dogs auction, the work A Leach'S Storm Petrol And A Portuguese Man-O-War changed hands for GBP 1,434.00 (€ 2,062.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Keith Hope Shackleton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work S.Y. Sea Cloud at Bora Bora in July 2006 with an auction result of USD 11,400.00 (€ 8,931.37).
