Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2000 Christies in London held the auction WILDLIFE ART, which included the work Snow Geese by Keith Hope Shackleton. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,496.64). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Keith Hope Shackleton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work S.Y. Sea Cloud at Bora Bora, which sold at auction in July 2006 for USD 11,400.00 (€ 8,931.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion WILDLIFE ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Snow Geese von Keith Hope Shackleton zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.496,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Keith Hope Shackleton mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit S.Y. Sea Cloud at Bora Bora beobachtet, die im Juli 2006 für USD 11.400,00 (€ 8.931,37) versteigert wurde.
