In March 2020 Christies in London held the auction Australian Art - Online, which included the work Bushwhacked by Kevin Charles Hart. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,823.01), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kevin Charles Hart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Banjo Patterson Mural in May 2003 with an auction result of AUD 99,875.00 (€ 55,285.22).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion Australian Art - Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bushwhacked von Kevin Charles Hart zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.823,01) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kevin Charles Hart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Banjo Patterson Mural im Mai 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 99.875,00 (€ 55.285,22).
