Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Kishi Gantai was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,561.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Kishi Gantai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Lions was auctioned for USD 7,800.00 (€ 5,832.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Kishi Gantai kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.462,50 (€ 4.561,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kishi Gantai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Lions für USD 7.800,00 (€ 5.832,21) versteigert.
