Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Paintings, which included the work Portrait Of The Artist'S Wife In Traditional Dress by Konstantin Andreevich Tereshkovich. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,335.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Konstantin Andreevich Tereshkovich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Celebration, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 20,900.00 (€ 29,265.41).
