Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Sunset by Ku Fu-Sheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The auction ended at the price of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,220.64), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ku Fu-Sheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sitting High(Painted In 1960) in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 330,400.00 (€ 37,489.28).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Sunset von Ku Fu-Sheng kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.220,64) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ku Fu-Sheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sitting High(Painted In 1960) im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 330.400,00 (€ 37.489,28).
