Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre - 2018 by Kura Shomali was sold in the A Moroccan Winter Contemporary African Art auction at Artcurial in Marrakech in December 2020. The price achieved of MAD 36,400.00 (€ 3,184.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 27,500.00 – 49,500.00. Other works by Kura Shomali have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2020 the work Untitled (Malik), 2012 was auctioned for GBP 3,562.00 (€ 3,954.21).
