This artwork by Lancelot Ribeiro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2020. In the Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Landscape) sold for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,336.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lancelot Ribeiro; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (White Landscape) sold at auction in October 2016 with the realized price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,532.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lancelot Ribeiro erzielte im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary South Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.336,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lancelot Ribeiro; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled (White Landscape) im Oktober 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.532,84).
