Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A lady with a parasol in an extensive landscape by Laszlo Neogrady was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,292.50 (€ 2,162.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Laszlo Neogrady - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter landscape at sunset, which sold at auction in March 2011 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,364.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A lady with a parasol in an extensive landscape von Laszlo Neogrady kam im September 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.292,50 (€ 2.162,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Laszlo Neogrady mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter landscape at sunset beobachtet, die im März 2011 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.364,66) versteigert wurde.
