Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Fotografering" by Lena Cronqvist was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 5,259.55). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lena Cronqvist achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Trolovningen" in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 9,200,000.00 (€ 990,642.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Fotografering" von Lena Cronqvist im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 5.259,55) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lena Cronqvist erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Trolovningen" im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 9.200.000,00 (€ 990.642,12).
