A top price for Leo Keck - as previously expected
The work Zermatt by Leo Keck was sold in the The Ski Sale, Travel in Style auction at Christies in London in January 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,437.04), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Zermatt is the most expensive artwork by Leo Keck that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Zermatt von Leo Keck wurde im Januar 2014 in der Auktion The Ski Sale, Travel in Style bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.437,04) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Zermatt das teuerste Kunstwerk von Leo Keck, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
