Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year Bonhams in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Chat (à Germaine Nordman) by Foujita. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,040.00 (€ 8,083.88), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chat (à Germaine Nordman) von Foujita zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.040,00 (€ 8.083,88) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
