Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita 藤田嗣治 | Portrait d'homme 男士肖像 by Foujita for HKD 6,300.00 (€ 747.95). This price was achieved in the auction Modern Art Online at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita 藤田嗣治 | Portrait d'homme 男士肖像 von Foujita für HKD 6.300,00 (€ 747,95) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
