Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Petite fille à la fleur (Little Girl with Flower) by Foujita was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 1,134,000.00 (€ 135,922.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 850,000.00 – 1,300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Petite fille à la fleur (Little Girl with Flower) von Foujita wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.134.000,00 (€ 135.922,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 850.000,00 – 1.300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
