This artwork by Levalet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Montpellier in October 2015. In the Urban Art benefiting to ARSLA auction, the work Evanescence - 2015 sold for EUR 1,300.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 501.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Levalet - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Placebo, which sold at auction in December 2016 for EUR 5,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Levalet erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Artcurial in Montpellier einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Urban Art benefiting to ARSLA wurde die Arbeit Evanescence - 2015 für EUR 1.300,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 501,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Levalet mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Placebo beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für EUR 5.000,00 versteigert wurde.
