This artwork by Leyly Matine-Daftary achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in November this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 44,100.00 (€ 51,102.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Leyly Matine-Daftary - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2021 for GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Leyly Matine-Daftary erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 44.100,00 (€ 51.102,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Leyly Matine-Daftary mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78) versteigert wurde.
