Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Power Of Freedom by Li Tianyuan was sold in the SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch) auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 15,906.93) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Li Tianyuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Receiving A Letter in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 122,736.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Power Of Freedom von Li Tianyuan wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch) bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 15.906,93) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Li Tianyuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Receiving A Letter im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 122.736,07).
