This artwork by Lin Changmin achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the A Historical Collection of East Asian Politics and Arts in Early 20th Century auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 86,250.00 (€ 8,021.81) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 32,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lin Changmin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Regular Script, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 218,500.00 (€ 25,252.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Lin Changmin erzielte im April 2014 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion A Historical Collection of East Asian Politics and Arts in Early 20th Century wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 86.250,00 (€ 8.021,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 32.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Lin Changmin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 218.500,00 (€ 25.252,19) versteigert wurde.
