Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th and 21st Century Art Morning Session, which included the work Portrait Of Lalan by Lin Fengmian. It changed hands for a price of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 290,696.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lin Fengmian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work FISHING VILLAGE in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 39,740,000.00 (€ 4,842,584.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th and 21st Century Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Lalan von Lin Fengmian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 290.696,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.800.000,00 – 2.800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lin Fengmian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit FISHING VILLAGE im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 39.740.000,00 (€ 4.842.584,61).
