Despite a disappointment, a good price for Lisa Anne Auerbach
In March 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Crystal Energy by Lisa Anne Auerbach for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,505.33). This price was achieved in the auction Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Crystal Energy is the most expensive artwork by Lisa Anne Auerbach that we have observed at auction so far.
